Accolades and Awards:-
- In 1996 George was awarded Banqueting Chef of the year for Great Britain, was semi-finalist at the British Chef of the year competition and twice finalist of the Pierre Taittinger competition.
George won a Gold medal and Banqueting Platter with the British Team in Toronto Canada.
- George holds a Master of Culinary Art - The MOGB or Master of Culinary Art as it is now known, is held by only 155 people worldwide.
- He is a winner of the Drogheda Business Excellence Award for 2005 for Best Small Business
- George has been recognised by the Bridgestone Guide since 2005.
- George started Georg’s Patisserie in Slane in 2001 and quickly developed a loyal client base and a place in people’s hearts. The Poet’s Rest is his latest adventure.
- George has been a finalist for a Hotel and Catering Review Award in Autumn 2008.
- George has come recommended by the Georgina Campbell Guides.
- George has been shortlisted for a Meath Marketing Award under the category of Most Effective Dining Marketing Initiative, the awards will take place November 6th 2008.
