A sad turn in fortune!

It is with great regret I have to tell you that our lovely Restaurant the Poets Rest had to close. Due to the poor economic situation we could not any longer survive.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank especially all my loyal staff for all there hard work and the effort they put into the business to try and make it a success ! 

I would also like to thank all our customer's and guest's who supported us over the last few years, and I am especially sorry if we can't accommodate any of your future plans you may had.  I like to think, one day I will be able to cook up a feast for all of you. 

The GOOD New's !

The good new's is that we still have our well established Pastry Shop in Slane and our Delicatessen Shop in the West Street Shopping Centre in Drogheda. We hope you will find everything you need for Christmas and any cake's and pastry's and deli food you could wish for , we will try and make them for you.
